Rochester MMA Event: Rage in the Cage 2

We were thrilled to be a part of Rage in the Cage, an amateur MMA event here in Rochester. Brennan Strimple helped to corner Jarrett McBride in his match. Brennan is a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has a strong striking background, holding a black belt in Kyokushin Karate and a 3rd degree black belt in Isshin Ryu. He also helped prepare Jarrett for his match. Along with his striking and grappling work, Jarrett also did some Judo training with Sensei Casey Jordan. The competition was fierce, the caliber of fighters participating in the Rochester amateur MMA scene is superb. The striking was especially impressive. Jarrett won his match and walked away already thinking about how to develop his game even further.
